I just bought a new Xbox 360 arcade on Amazon.co.uk, is it likely to be a Jasper model?
I gave up trying to flash my other xbox 360 disc drive after I realised that I couldn’t do it without completely messing up Windows, so I got a new xbox 360 on Amazon.co.uk yesterday. It is estimated to arrive on Tuesday, and I wonder, will it be the Jasper model or one of the older models? I really want it to be a Jasper because they are the newest and the quietest. If it matters, it is the kind without the hard drive (I have my old hard drive to use).
To explain in more detail why I bought a new Xbox 360, all the parts of the original disc drive which came with my other Xbox 360 have GONE so I need to flash another drive to make it work but I can’t without having to delete and re-install Windows Vista because of RAID managing something which I’d have to disable and in doing so have to destroy Windows… Also the new Xbox 360 will have a warranty
I tried booting from the CD – just want to make a Windows installation, without the option to format or partition. Tried running CD of view – the only option is to install Windows (yes, I followed all the menus to the point where he was about copying files) I tried to run from the command prompt – I got farther with it, but he keeps asking me for a volume label. I can not find a label volume or create one. When I tried to create a volume label, he said I had to be in "high status" what it means .. I am the administrator of the course.
