Windows XP User Accounts Troubleshooting?

I have to push CTRL,ALT,DELETE twice when windows log in screen shows up.then I go to control panel/user accounts and this is the messege I get.
“the current user account is not reconized.restart the computer and then open user accounts”.
I am trying to delete users and make it so the log in screen dissapers.
Windows XP home.
Yes I am as ADMIN. I know about computers and I tried a few things. I need help with figuring it out. not help with. are you logged in as adm duhhhh.. lol...

when you login to PC you need to be loged in as administrator are you?
