Windows Vista Hosts File Edit
windows vista help…?
i opened up C: windows/system32/drivers/etc
and tried to edit my host file by opening it into wordpad. i added what i needed to but when i tried to save it, it told me access what denied. i went and messed around in the properties to try and change the permissions but still no luck.
i also tried it in notepad, that wouldnt work either.
if anyone could tell me how to let me do this it would be great,
oh and im on the only user account on our computer.
why are you doing that first of all…?? you want your system to crash? visita is very wierd about doing all that stuff
you need to take the file out of where its located…edit it and save it to that file that you just removed it from..make sure that you dont delete the org file
