Windows Vista Vpn

How to configure VPN !?!?!?
Okay, I'm going to try to paint a picture with words here ... I have a Windows Vista desktop down, and a Windows XP on top of the table. My Vista computer is connected directly to my Netgear router and my XP computer is connected to my router via "Devolo dLAN Extenders "for reasons of ease is" theoretically "also directly connected to my router. My question is, is there a way to connect these two computers, so I do not have to constantly stick my memory files or e-mail them? As a VPN connection? Could anyone please give me a step-by-step "How To "on how to connect the two? Thanks: D I'll choose the best answer:)
If these are the only two computers on your network, you need not VPN, you can use the simple sharing.
