How To Install Windows 7 Rc On Boot Camp - Mac

Windows 7 on MSDN. Having missed the first race, I was reaching download speeds of about 1.5 MB / s on my 15 mb connects FIOS. Then I had the ISO, I realized that would avoid the nightmere erase and repartition the Boot Camp and try to start a law of my newly burned Windows 7 DVD and reformat from the installer. In retrospect seems that the Mac OS X does not recognize that there is a volume of Windows as a boot disk now - Only the Mac OS is in dispalyed Sysytem Preferences> Startup Disk.

Based on my past experience with Vista x64 installed on my MacBook Pro, I went to a very useful post that I had marked in obtaining the ISO to boot (after some digging, this post basically other outlines the same thing). And sure enough, it was updated for Windows 7. If you do this right away, you will not see the "Select CD-ROM boot type" with no way to make a selection.

I reformatted my drive to NTFS a clean install of Windows 7, and the installation went without a hangup [insert your look of surprise here]. I followed that up with a regular installation of Apple's Boot Camp on my CD OS X (version 2.01) - you can also download them through a torrent - and then the Boot Camp x64 Apple (2.1).

After installing Boot Camp, what happened next completely blew my mind - everything worked. This was a great relief, because after each install Vista x64 I found my Wi-Fi Non-functional (I had to download my own Atheros drivers) and the ATI graphics driver was drafted (with fixed modtool). In my opinion, Microsoft did a great job of playing nice with Apple's drivers, this time - they still show a nice message if a driver is supported as opposed to the blue screen with common Vista.Windows 7 of MSDN. As far as first impressions, Windows 7 is simply just worked for me. From the minimum amount of processes running on all my hardware and software that work without a hitch, Windows 7 is definitely a pleasant surprise in the wake Vista.

So you have already installed Windows 7 to Boot Camp? If so, please share your experiences (good and bad).

------------

Update: Some people seem to be having problems with drivers. These are the two drivers from Boot Camp, which I always use - no problem:

Install First Download and install the BootCamp 2.01 (x64)
Install Second: Download and install the BootCamp 2.1 Update
