Windows Vista Drivers
help!!! how can i use windows vista drivers for windows xp.?
i have downgraded my windows vista to xp but my audio or networking drivers won't work so could anybody tell me whats up.
Go to either your computer manufacturer's website or your hardware manufacturer's website to find the latest XP drivers for your audio and network. In most cases, they will both be integrated on the motherboard (unless you have a dedicated expansion card) so it should be pretty easy to find. If you have trouble finding them, shoot me a message with your make and model of computer and I'll track them down for you, though it may take a while (busy day).
Edit: NEVER pay for drivers. They can ALWAYS be found at the manufacturer's website and 100% free. If you see a site that wants you to pay for drivers, they are trying to rip you off. Also, never pay for a 'driver update' program. They are also rip-offs. In fact, just never use a driver update program. Call or e-mail your hardware manufacturer's support department if you have any issues that you can't find a resolution to. In fact, you should NEVER get drivers for your hardware from anywhere but the manufacturer's website, unless said manufacturer has gone out of business.
