Windows Xp Browser History

How do I clear my browsing history on the Internet (Windows XP)?

I tried going to control / internet options / general and hit clear history near the Days to keep pages in history ", but that does not allow me to clean it or change the number of days. I see where I should be able to do it, but it is not an active option.

Double-click My Computer, right click on your hard disk, then go to properties on the General tab you will see next to the pie chart "Disk Cleanup". This sholud work for you.
