Windows Xp Office 2007 Compatibility

how to install Microsoft Word 2007 on Windows XP SP2?

I tried to install the compatibility pack from Microsoft Office on my PC that has Windows XP SP2 from Microsoft Download .. but its center does not install .. I need to open Word 2007 document .. help plzz. I jus formatted my system so I do not have Office 2003 on my pc .. and also OpenOffice. org is taking too long to download (5hr)

Wish you had detailed what kind of error or problem you have with the installation …. I'm assuming you have Office 20,003 on your PC. You need that to use the compatibility pack. Go to http://openoffice.org and download the free program Open Office. It is a clone of Office that can open Word 2007 documents. Is everything that MS Office does, only for free.
