Windows 7 Not Responding

Continually failing IE8 Windows 7?

Recently upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 on my laptop, but now the internet dropping steadily! Once I have 2 or more tabs or windows open, I get an error message that says "Internet Explorer is not responding". I have the option of Restart the Internet and go to my home page, or resume my last session. Can anyone help me with this because it is really annoying!

Many of us we are using an alternative like Firefox, Opera or Google Chrome until IE8 gets sorted.
