Windows 7 Sound Card Recording

Leadtek WinFast TV2000 sound problem - Can anyone help?
I have an old (about 7 years old) Leadtek WinFast TV2000 TV tuner card that I'm trying to get to work on my new (computer with Windows XP) (Note: this is not the latest "Winfast TV2000 Expert" or "Winfast Delux TV2000 card "). The only driver I could find to work with him was a Windows 2000 driver. The card works well with this, but the sound does not record. I tried several settings in the TV software, and called the video signal to the card using the RF input and camera (which includes SVideo and audio) input. I know sound element of the signal is being decoded by the card, because I get the sound card's "Audio Out" socket. I even tried looping the signal back online sound card "In", but still get no sound recorded. Can anyone offer any advice?
I would look at the audio options the software you are using. I remember long ago when I was using an expert WinFast my line 'in' needed to be selected as "Audio CD" that was rather strange. You will need a cable to the output of your tuner card for your input sound cards.
