Windows 7 Image Backup Restore

Windows 7 or backup images of both hard drives on my PC.?
My PC is dual boot and hard drive contains other Vista. if he backs both images on my Vista disk HDDs will and ability to dual boot be immediately restored if a restoration is needed?
