Windows Xp Hp Printer Drivers
Trouble installing HP Laserjet 4 Plus printer with Windows XP.?
I'm trying to install the HP laserjet 4 plus printer. After I use the Add Printer Wizard and attempt to print a test page I get a message saying that the attempt to print failed. I went on HPs website and downloaded the new drivers which was just a zip file. I point the printer wizard to the unzipped file for the drivers and it tells me that the drivers may not be compatible and suggests that I don't continue. At the same time, when looking around in the device manager I don't see and printer, LPT, ports installed? Could this be a driver issue or a problem with my LPT port? If so how do you install an LPT port?
try to use other cable to test if your cable has a problem...or maybe you just need to push your cable at the back of your computer and also to your printer..
