connect a laptop to the internet through Cingular 8125?
I have Windows Vista and there is a way to install Active Sync. is how my friend told me to call. I went modem to connect the PDA and would activate. but no internet on laptop
I also have the Cingular 8125 phone, and I had the same problem when I upgraded my Windows Vista laptop. Active Sync is not compatible with Windows Vista, so you will not be able to install it on your laptop. To my knowledge, there is no way to access the Internet on your laptop using a USB cable with the Cingular 8125. However, you can access the Internet with a Bluetooth adapter USB you can buy at Wal-Mart for about $ 20. Simply plug the Bluetooth adapter in your laptop USB port and you can use your phone as a modem and connect 8125 Internet.
