Windows Vista Disk Space Missing
Delete info from an old partition?
I seem to have made a silly mistake, I downgraded my laptop from vista to XP, that went fine. The problem is I just realised that I didnt delete all the old information (programs, games, ETC) from the partition. There were 2 partitions and I only deleted the one with Vista on it. Now after finding all the drivers and getting the PC up and running, I realised that there was 30GB of hard disk space missing and with a new install that shouldnt be. Does anyone know how I can clear up this space without having to Re-install windows? I really dont want to have to find everything again.
the partition you want to format if not contain Operating system , go to my computer right click the driver letter and click format.it'll not harm to you os.
or do you mean that partition not showing in your my computer?
then right click my computer-->manage--->disk management--->find the partition and format it right clicking the certain partition.
